Today, I begin a new chapter on the CGOVE Events website, one I’ve been looking forward to with great excitement. This blog is a personal space where I’ll share my experiences, inspirations, industry trends, new ideas, thoughtful advice, and the many reflections that shape my work and my life.
My name is Cristina Gómez. I am a mother, a wife, and an event planner. Above all, I am someone who believes deeply in celebrating life.
Designing and organizing events is my true passion. I love my work and the rhythm of my days, starting the morning with a cup of hot coffee and turning ideas into meaningful experiences. There is something incredibly special about beginning with a blank canvas and imagining what a space can become.
My journey into event planning began several years ago, when I co-founded a party store. It didn’t succeed as we had hoped, largely because we tried to do too much at once. Looking back, that experience taught me something invaluable: clarity.
It was then that I fully understood my love for event design and organization. I realized I needed to focus on what I do best; creating thoughtful, beautifully curated celebrations.
Life’s biggest challenges are not meant to stop us, but to reveal truths we may not yet see.

I have always been drawn to transforming spaces, playing with volumes, textures, colors, and details to create atmospheres that feel magical and intentional. My background in interior design has shaped the way I see events. I studied interior design at the Istituto Europeo di Design, rendering at UPC School of Architecture, and interior styling at UAL Central Saint Martins.
Even so, I continue learning every year. The world of events is vast, and there is always something new to discover. Growth, curiosity, and refinement are part of the journey, don’t you agree?
My goal is simple: to offer solutions, to make the planning process enjoyable, and to ensure that when the celebration arrives, you can fully let go and truly enjoy the moment. Because on the day that matters most, your only role should be to celebrate.
With warmth,
Cristina G.
