A BIRTHDAY FOR MY SON

This celebration was different.
It wasn’t designed for a client or a brand, it was created for my son.And when you plan something for your own child, everything changes.
Watching him grow has taught me that childhood is made of moments that pass too quickly. One day they’re tiny, the next they’re blowing out candles with eyes full of excitement and wonder. Celebrating his birthday wasn’t about creating something impressive, it was about creating something he would feel.
I wanted him to walk into that space and feel joy. To feel surprised. To feel loved. I wanted colors, laughter, familiar characters, and details made just for him. Because for a child, a birthday isn’t an event, it’s a memory that stays.
As I stood back and watched him smile, I understood once again why I do what I do.
Children don’t remember perfection. They remember how something made them feel.

Designing children’s celebrations requires a different kind of sensitivity. It’s about imagination, warmth, and care. About thinking through the eyes of a child, while offering parents the peace of knowing everything has been thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed.
At CGOVE Events, we approach children’s birthdays and family celebrations with the same intention as any other meaningful milestone, because moments like these shape childhood, and childhood shapes who we become.
This celebration was for my son.But the feeling behind it is what I hope to create for every family who trusts us with their most precious moments.
With all my heart,
Cristina G.
